Storm & Insurance Restoration

Finding the damage, proving it to your insurance, and putting the roof back better than the storm left it. Handled in person, start to finish.

Hail and high wind are hard on a roof, and southwest Missouri gets plenty of both. Most of what Pro Nail does is storm work, and Eden handles the inspection and the adjuster meeting himself, so nothing covered gets missed and nothing gets oversold.

After a storm, do not wait

Storm damage does not always leak right away. Lifted shingles, cracked seals, and hail bruising let water in slowly, and by the time you see a stain on the ceiling the wood deck underneath may already be soft. Two other clocks are running: most policies give you a limited window to file a claim after a storm, and every rain in the meantime makes covered damage worse on your dime. A free inspection now costs nothing and protects both.

How we work your claim

1
Free inspection.

Eden gets on the roof, documents the hail and wind damage with photos and measurements, and tells you straight whether you have a claim worth filing. If you do not, he will say so.

2
You open the claim.

You call your insurer and file. We hand you everything you need to make that call quick and clear.

3
We meet your adjuster.

Eden is there on site when the adjuster comes out, so the damage gets seen the way it actually is instead of rushed from the driveway.

4
Scope and approval.

We check the adjuster's scope against what the roof actually needs and go back for anything left off, so covered damage is paid in full.

5
Install.

Our crews handle the tear-off and the new roof: clean, to code, and warrantied in writing.

6
Final walkthrough.

Eden walks the finished job with you and handles the paperwork that closes the claim out.

How roof insurance actually works, the honest version

There is a lot of noise out there about storm claims, so here is it straight. Your policy covers sudden storm damage, not age and normal wear. When you file, the insurer sends an adjuster to assess it and pays the cost to repair the covered damage, minus your deductible.

Your deductible is yours to pay. That is the law. Any contractor who offers to "eat it," "waive it," or "hide it" is asking you to commit insurance fraud, and it puts you on the hook, not them. We will never do that, and you should walk away from anyone who does. What we do is document the covered damage completely so the claim is paid in full, and we never pad a claim with damage that is not there. Straight, both directions.

Roof torn open right now?

Get the water out of the equation first. Move what you can from under the leak, set a bucket down, and call us. We do emergency tarping to cover the opening and stop the damage until the roof can be scheduled. Do not climb up yourself after a storm, a wet or damaged roof is how people get hurt.
